One-van HVAC techs

HVAC

No AC in August does not leave a voicemail.

For one-van shops. A dead furnace in a freeze, or a house at 92°, is not going to sit on hold. Keep the cell on the truck. We answer what you miss and text you the call — system type, how bad, and whether anyone is at risk.

Start with your cell

Setup is two minutes. $10/mo + $5 a qualified job. If you’ve got a front desk, this isn’t it.

This is the text you get instead of “you have one new message.”

Forward the cell you already have

When you’re on a roof, in an attic, or buried in a condensing unit, the phone still rings — or it doesn’t, if you want us on every call. Customers never see a new number.

  2. 02

    A dispatcher who knows hvac

They talk like an HVAC dispatcher. No heat in a freeze, a carbon monoxide alarm, a gas smell — emergency. A spring tune-up is not. They do not tell anyone to jump out a limit switch.

  3. 03

You get the job as a text

Name, callback, address, issue, urgency. English and Spanish, no “press 1.” We text you the job and text them that you’re calling back, so they stop dialing the next van.

Questions HVAC techs actually ask

I have six trucks and a person on the phone. Is this for me?
No. This is for one-van shops and tiny crews where the owner is still on the tools. It texts the owner a lead. It does not dispatch trucks, book Jobber, or live-transfer to a CSR. If you already have a front desk or ServiceTitan, keep it.
Is this an AI receptionist for any contractor?
No. It covers the cell that’s on the van while you’re under a sink, in a panel, or on a roof. Customers keep calling the number they know. You get a text and call them back.
Do homeowners call a new HVAC number?
No. They call the cell that’s already on the truck and the Google listing. You forward missed calls — or every call — to us.
What if the carbon monoxide alarm is going off?
That’s an emergency, and they are told to get out and call 911 if the alarm is sounding. You still get the ticket so you can follow up. We do not play dispatcher for a CO event.
Will it try to diagnose a capacitor from a noise?
No. It captures the symptom, the system location, how long it’s been down, and whether anyone in the house needs heat or AC. You roll with that, not a guess from a bot.
Summer and winter both?
Yes. No-cool in a heat wave and no-heat in a freeze are both first-class. Tune-ups and filter-change leads land as scheduled tickets, not mixed with the emergencies.

Also for plumbers and electricians.
